Two sides of the same coin, we are

One with needles, the other bar

Sadly, the syringe breaks the skin

Wondering if it’s from my sin

Both from backgrounds of love and hate

Are both our addictions our fate

Virtually, we spoke for hours

Inside us, the demon cowers

Waiting to strike when our guard’s down

Feeding it more for it to drown

Once in the veins, heroin flows

The beast within suddenly grows

A lethal dose that no one can see

God, please help us, this cannot be

She’ll never get to see Paris

Thanks to our Border Tsar Harris

Then thought I was forgotten

Finding the news, feeling rotten

Left in a world alone to face

Feeling like I was a disgrace

Now my lines are no longer blurred

Craving alcohol is now cured

At your low, why didn’t you turn

Leaving me to face this fire burn

Wishing we didn’t have this gene

We miss and love our little bean
